Groups can apply to us for funding under £10,000, or over £10,000, depending on what they want to do.
We fund projects that support people and communities across the UK to thrive. We fund lots of different activities through a variety of funding programmes.
The YAPP Charitable Trust make grants for running costs and salaries to small registered charities in England and Wales to help sustain their existing work.
Bridging the Gap (Manchester) – our £7,500 grant (over 3 years) is helping towards the costs of delivering a foodbank, school holiday hunger packs and support services to people in crisis.
Host Nottingham – our £6,000 (over 3 years) is contributing to the core costs of supporting destitute asylum seekers to access accommodation and legal services.
Community Champions are working in partnership with West Lancashire Borough Council, through the Community Champions scheme, to improve the health and wellbeing of people who have been adversely affected by COVID-19 and reduce health inequalities locally.
This last year has been the toughest time for many people, but one of the good things is the way people are pulling together and supporting each other, and making sure the most vulnerable in our communities stay safe in the pandemic.
The Community Champions project is supporting this groundswell of community action and is working to get accurate and up to date information about the rapidly changing local COVID-19 situation into the heart of communities across West Lancashire.

In March 2020, Arnold Clark launched their first ever Community Fund to provide financial help to community groups and charities that had been significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. We are pleased to announce that, so far, we have received over 13,000 applications from organisations from a wide range of backgrounds.
